Safety Protocols: First-time shooters are required to complete the 2020 USI Liability Waiver and engage in the Firearm Safety and Range operations video orientation. An online test about the videos and general gun safety must also be passed prior to your first visit. Successful completion grants you a “Blue Card,” which you must present alongside your driver’s license every time you visit. Eye and ear protection is mandatory. Firearms should be brought unloaded and in an official firearm case. Note that USI does not rent guns or offer shooting lessons.
Reviews & Feedback: The majority of visitors have praised the facility for its excellent upkeep, safety measures, and the professional attitude of the staff. The range manager, in particular, has been mentioned as the heart of the operation. Many feel that it’s a safe and courteous place to shoot, especially for beginners who have basic firearm safety knowledge. However, some have expressed dissatisfaction over limited hours of operation, and a few have found certain staff members to be lacking in respect. The occasional long waiting line, particularly on weekends, is another point of feedback.
It’s worth noting that there are certain rules that everyone, including off-duty law enforcement and CCW holders, are expected to adhere to, which may not align with everyone’s preferences.
