Located just 20 miles southeast of Montgomery in Mathews, off highway 82, lies the scenic Dixie Trap & Gun Club. Established in 1985, this family-operated business, owned by Bill and Becky Parson Jr., sprawls across 132 acres of picturesque landscape.

The club has 7 trap fields, equipped with Pat Trap machines and Canterbury Voice release systems. Pricing varies for members and non-members. First-timers enjoy member pricing for the day. They also offer shotgun rentals and lessons for newcomers. While 12 ga. shotguns are commonly used, smaller gauges and field guns are welcome. Safety is a priority, with eye and hearing protection being mandatory, available at the clubhouse.
