Rabbit Creek Shooting Park (RCSP) caters to all shooting enthusiasts, from novices to professionals.
The park features ranges for handgun, center-fire, rim-fire, archery, and non-toxic shotgun clay target shooting.
RCSP boasts a 100-yard semi-enclosed center-fire range, a 50-yard semi-enclosed handgun range, a 50-yard rim-fire range, and two special instructional ranges.
For archery enthusiasts, there’s a range with both static and 3-D targets, including a simulated tree platform.
Two media-equipped classrooms can accommodate 24 students each or be combined for a total of 48 students.
On-site, the Alaska Department of Fish and Games Hunter Information and Training (HIT) Program offers a plethora of classes for basic safety, shooting, hunting skills, firearms instruction for all levels, and more.
Youth shooting sports, clinics, and two Youth Shotgun Leagues are available.
Range equipment such as rifle rests, spotting scopes, chronographs, sandbags, and targets are provided, though firearm rentals and ammunition sales are not available.
A special note: the Shotgun Range will be closed during October due to staff shortages.
