The General Joe Foss Public Shooting Complex, located at 26700 W Buckeye Hills Drive, Buckeye, AZ 85326 in the Buckeye Hills Regional Park, offers shooting enthusiasts an opportunity to practice in a safe and professional environment. Here’s what you can expect:

Operating Hours:

  • Open every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
  • Please note that if you arrive after 12:15 PM, your shooting time will be limited.

Fees:

  • Adults: $7 per shooter.
  • Active Duty Military, Law Enforcement & ASRPA Members: $5.
  • Under 18: Free.
  • Non-shooting observers: $7.
  • Preferred payment methods are Credit or Debit Cards.

Facilities:

  • Main Range: A 200-yard public range accommodating all firearms except the .50 BMG. Shotguns are allowed but only for shooting slugs.
  • Trap & Skeet Range: Tokens for use can be purchased in the main building’s store.

Amenities:

  • Complimentary shooting cards.
  • JFR Store offering targets, eye protection, ear protection, chamber flags, batteries for purchase. Rentals include spotting scopes, lead sleds, and gun cases.

Safety Measures:

  • Eye and ear protection are mandatory.
  • All firearms should be cased. Cases are available for rent if required.
  • No drawing and shooting from holsters is allowed.
  • A maximum of two individuals is permitted at a shooting bench.

Ammunition Rules:

  • The range prohibits armor-piercing, incendiary, tracer, exploding ammunition, birdshot, and buckshot. However, 223/5.56×45 Green Tip M855 62-grain ammo is accepted.
