>Established in 1949, the Globe-Miami Gun Club is a local NRA-affiliated shooting range that’s been serving its members and their guests for several decades. The club is easily accessible with a map available for download to guide visitors to the location. Operating Hours:
- Shooting Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm every day unless otherwise indicated.
- Range Office Hours: 8 am till closing, seven days a week unless otherwise specified.
Note: Globe-Miami Gun Club operates as a “COLD” range.
Mission Statement: The club aims to promote organized shooting sports among US citizens in their community. The primary vision revolves around ensuring citizens possess thorough knowledge about firearm safety, proper handling, and maintenance. Moreover, the club emphasizes cultivating qualities such as honesty, fellowship, discipline, and patriotism – all pillars of good sportsmanship.

Safety and Etiquette: Safety is paramount at the Globe-Miami Gun Club. The club provides detailed safety guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety. These include fundamental firearm safety rules, understanding range etiquettes like loading/unloading firearms correctly, following ceasefires strictly, and refraining from backseat shooting.
Membership Process: To become a member, one has to fill out the Membership Application available at the range office. New applications are only processed in person. An oral briefing on the range’s policies and rules will be provided to all new members before they can use the range. NRA membership is mandatory, and those not already members can apply simultaneously. Communication with the range is primarily through email or phone (text messages are not accepted). Accepted payments include cash and checks.
Feedback from Community: Strengths:
- The range has been consistently manned seven days a week since January 2021.
- Clear instructions and membership checks are done at the range office upon arrival.
Weaknesses:
- There have been instances where the club didn’t open at the specified time for certain events.
- Communication gaps noted with unanswered phone calls and unreturned voicemails.
