Delta Sportsman’s Association, a non-profit private sportsman’s club, has been fostering the love of shooting sports in the Delta Junction and Fort Greely communities since 1982. With its core values centered around safety, education, and community spirit, it remains committed to offering a blend of recreational and competitive shooting events in a family-friendly environment.

Features & Services:

• Range: A meticulously maintained 100-yard rifle range, recently refurbished with the addition of “No Blue Sky” baffles, ensuring a safer and enjoyable shooting experience. Currently, only standing and bench shooting positions are allowed.
• Events: The club organizes an array of events throughout the year, catering to both members and the public. These include Bench Matches, Women on Target, Gun Shows, and Concealed Carry classes, to name a few.
• Training & Achievements: From beginners to the youth aiming for national recognition, the club offers specialized training sessions such as the Introduction to Position Shooting, Training for Junior Olympics, and Training for Nationals. Their commitment to excellence is evident from their junior shooters’ outstanding accomplishments on both state and national levels.
• Community Building: Beyond shooting, every Friday night the association brings members together for a potluck dinner followed by a night at the bar. While many cherish these nights of camaraderie, it’s heartwarming to know that the bar’s proceeds go directly into supporting the club’s community-driven activities.
