Colorado Clays Shooting Park is not just your ordinary shooting range. With the capacity to accommodate 50 individuals, its expansive clubhouse has witnessed numerous events ranging from corporate gatherings to birthdays and weddings. The venue offers a unique space, ensuring memorable experiences for all its guests. Additionally, the park offers in-house catering for those who wish to have their events catered.

  • Rifle & Pistol Range: Priced at $20 per shooter/per hour. This includes the use of either the rifle or pistol range along with one target. Children under 18 are allowed to shoot for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Disciplines Offered:

  • Clay Shooting: A sport where participants aim to hit special flying targets known as clay pigeons or clay targets using a shotgun. The sport comprises at least 20 different forms of regulated competition, majorly categorized under Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays.
  • Skeet Shooting: Targets are predominantly crossing ones, differentiating it from trap shooting where targets are outgoing. Colorado Clays offers public shooting and league shooting during spring and summer.
  • Sporting Clays: A shooting game mirroring the flight patterns of game birds. Colorado Clays boasts a fully automated course set in an intriguing terrain, with a winding path through the course. It has 15 automated stations, including a 60′ tower and a 20′ elevated platform.
  • Trap Shooting: Up to five shooters take shots at five targets fired from varying positions. Colorado Clays has 8 Trap ranges, complete with voice or manual controls.
  • Wobble Trap: A variant offering an extreme target flight path. The park offers 2 wobble traps to test shooting skills.
  • Rifle & Pistol Range: A modern range offering a comfortable, heated, semi-enclosed shooting canopy. The range is equipped with the latest in shooting range equipment, ensuring a unique experience for visitors.

Safety and Regulations:

  • Clay targets are not thrown during bad weather.
  • Shotguns must be 36 inches or longer for Trap, Skeet, or Sporting Clays.
  • Steel-cased or steel-core projectiles are not allowed. Bullets are checked using a magnet.

Courses and Training: Colorado Clays offers a variety of courses for both new and experienced shooters, ranging from introductory shotgun clinics to NRA basic classes for shotgun, pistol, and rifle. They also offer concealed carry courses and home defense training.
