About the Founders: Veteran owned by Rob & Elise Wilson, Timberline is rooted in passion and expertise. Rob served 22 years on active duty in the Navy, where he had extensive responsibilities in missile submarines and as a security force trainer. Elise, a graduate of UofA, worked behind the camera at Channel 3 in Phoenix before being promoted to bureau chief in Flagstaff. An accomplished shooter, she competes in IDPA, USPSA, and is a Cowboy Mounted Shooter. Recognizing Flagstaff’s need for a comprehensive facility, the duo initiated and established Timberline.
Facility and Green Initiatives: Constructed using advanced techniques, the facility emphasizes safety and environmental responsibility. Boasting solar panels, rainwater collection, efficient building structures, brass and lead recycling, and electric vehicle charging stations, Timberline is a model of sustainability, producing twice the energy it consumes. The indoor range is also wheelchair accessible, ensuring inclusivity for all.
Indoor Shooting Range: Their state-of-the-art indoor range is both beginner-friendly and challenging for seasoned shooters. It features touchscreen controls, pre-programmed courses, and is open to both handguns and rifles. Safety is paramount with Range Safety Officers on-site, and a diverse selection of ammunition and targets are available for purchase.
