Located in Centerton, Arkansas, the Northwest Arkansas Shooting Academy is dedicated to the art and discipline of shooting. Jerad and Kitrina Napier founded the academy, which takes pride in cultivating a community of responsible and knowledgeable firearm enthusiasts.

About the Instructors:

  • Jerad Napier grew up in Northwest Arkansas and has always been passionate about shooting sports. A former Air Force mechanic and a government contractor, Jerad later combined his love for teaching and shooting to establish the Northwest Arkansas Shooting Academy. He is an NRA Certified Instructor and an Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License Instructor.
  • Kitrina Napier, also a long-term resident of Northwest Arkansas, initially ventured into the hospitality industry and later became a successful event coordinator and planner. Her journey took her to real estate, and she now also contributes to the academy by instructing shooting fundamentals and CHCL courses.

What The Academy Offers:

  • Beginner/Basic Licensure Courses: Perfect for those new to shooting or looking to refine their basics. Courses like the Basic Pistol and the Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry Courses are available.
  • Shooting on Target – Advanced Courses: Aimed at those with a more profound understanding of firearms, courses such as Applied Concealed Carry and Home Defense Strategies and Tactics are offered.
  • Private Instruction: Tailored courses to meet individual needs, ensuring one-on-one attention and guidance.

Upcoming Courses: The academy has a lineup of courses, including the AR CHCL Basic/Enhanced Combo and Home Defense Strategies and Tactics. All courses emphasize safety and technique, and some sessions include live fire qualifications at Lonesome Oak Guns and Range.
