Located west of Kingman on the expansive Oatman Road, the Mohave Sportsman Club spans approximately 717 acres, welcoming both members and non-members to its vast facilities. It operates 361 days a year, with specific summer (April 1st to Sept. 30th, 7am – 5pm) and winter (October 1st to March 31st, 8am – 5pm) operational hours. The club remains closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Visitors should note that while MSC provides target stands and sells targets, as well as eye/ear protection and water at the Range Office, they do not offer guns or ammunition for sale. Comprehensive amenities such as running water and restrooms are available at the Range Office, Clubhouse, and the trap/skeet club house, with added porta-potties situated on the 1,000-yard range, archery range, and cowboy range. Electric power is conveniently accessible on the rifle/pistol ranges, trap/skeet range, and the clubhouse.
Regularly held matches cater to various shooting interests, including Practical Pistol, Cowboy Action, 1000-Yard, 500 Meter, Bullseye, Trap, SCSA Steel Challenge, USPSA, Archery, ATA, and more. All visitors are subject to a nominal range use fee.
Safety: Safety remains paramount at MSC, with detailed safety rules posted across ranges. Written copies are also available at the Range Office. The club strictly prohibits alcohol consumption, with those under its influence denied access. Additionally, any form of dangerous, threatening, or unethical behavior is not tolerated.

History: Established in 1936, the Mohave Sportsman Club has seen multiple locations around the Kingman area. The current site was chosen in collaboration with the Arizona Game and Fish Commission in 1969. Acquired under the Recreational and Public Purposes Agreement from the Bureau of Land Management, the property was then leased to MSC. Since its establishment, various organizations and individuals, including the Mohave County Board of Supervisors and the Ford Motor Co., have contributed to its development.
Volunteer Opportunities: MSC operates predominantly on volunteer efforts. They actively seek assistance for maintenance, projects, and repairs. Volunteering is integral to the club’s continued operation.
