Alex City Shooting

Located just a mile east of Alexander City, AL, the Alexander City Shooting Club (ACSC) stands as an emblem of firearm enthusiasts’ commitment to the lawful and safe use of firearms. Catering primarily to sport and defense, the club is a haven for those who prioritize the conservation of wildlife, the preservation of sport hunting, and the protection of gun ownership rights.

Facilities and Amenities:

Shooting Range: A state-of-the-art shooting range, maintained and operated by ACSC. The facility includes:
- A pistol range
- A small-bore range extending up to 100 meters (with covered shooting positions and benches)
- A rifle range stretching to 300 meters (also with covered positions and benches)
Events: ACSC regularly hosts events, such as the Bowling Pin Matches, the ACSC Steel Challenge, and the Golf Ball – Rimfire Rifle Match.
Membership: Available for application in PDF format, allowing interested individuals to be part of this esteemed organization. Note: Timely dues payment is essential for continued membership benefits.
Affiliation: Proudly affiliated with the National Rifle Association.

Range Access:

For ACSC Members: The range is open 365 days a year.
For Non-Members: Access is granted only when accompanied by an ACSC member in good standing. The range is not open to the general public.

Safety First: Range Rules

ACSC prioritizes safety. All users are expected to adhere to essential safety guidelines, which include but are not limited to:

Mandatory use of approved eye and ear protection
Proper firearm handling, ensuring they’re pointed in safe directions
Keeping firearms unloaded until ready for use
Strict prohibition of certain bullets, such as tracers or incendiaries
Requirement for younger shooters (below 18) to be accompanied by an adult club member
Disallowance of hunting within the Shooting Park premises
