>Established in 2012, the Copper Star Indoor Shooting Range is a family and veteran-owned facility located in Arizona. Known for its vast array of services, the range offers a unique shooting experience that caters to both novice and seasoned enthusiasts.
Facilities and Services:
- Rifle and Pistol Ranges: The establishment boasts a 25-yard indoor pistol range, a 50-yard indoor archery range, and the only 100-yard indoor rifle range in Arizona.
- Rentals: For those without equipment, Copper Star provides a diverse selection of firearms and bows for rent, including some iconic fully automatic machine guns like the Thompson “Tommy” Gun, the M1919 Browning, and many more. Additionally, they have a range of handguns available, from .22 LR to .44 magnum.
- Ammunition & Supplies: They stock ammunition brands like Winchester, Remington, Black Hills, and offer reloading supplies for sale. All firearm rentals must use range ammunition.
- Instruction: One-on-one courses on basic handgun and shooting fundamentals are available, including safety, handling, shooting, and gun maintenance. Classes run for a minimum of four hours.
- CCW Classes: Copper Star is also a venue for AZ Concealed Carry classes. The course runs for about six hours and includes application paperwork, fingerprints, a light lunch, and snacks.
- Archery Services: The range offers an all-encompassing archery pro shop providing services such as bow tuning, arrow making, string repair, one-on-one coaching, and much more. They have NFAA and USA Certified Instructors.
Operational Hours: Open Thursday to Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The range remains closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Note their holiday schedule, as they’re closed on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
