Founded in 1924 as “Mohawk Gun Club”, the Iroquois Rod & Gun Club has been an essential part of the Capital Region’s outdoor community for nearly a century. The club focuses on safely promoting firearm and archery marksmanship, with a rich history that spans back to its origins. As of 2014, they celebrated 90 years of continuous operation.

Safety First: The Iroquois Rod & Gun Club emphasizes a “COLD Club” policy. No loaded firearms are permitted on the premises unless at the firing line, without any exceptions. All firearms should be unloaded unless in the designated shooting position, and safety measures like eye and ear protection are mandatory on all ranges.
Hours & Accessibility: Different ranges have varying hours of operation, mainly from dawn to dusk. However, certain facilities, like the trap and skeet, are available until 10 pm.
